Though many say that God doesn't share His glory, they however misinterprete scriptures that explicitly shows that God was not referring to man(his children) but other gods and craven images. Truth is God wants us to share in His glory (John 17:22) and we sure do share in His glory daily. However, we're expected to always ascribe this glory back to God
"On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man.” Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died."
CAUTION

PROMISE
When you humble yourself, God will exalt you in due season and His glory will continually radiate through you.
James 4:10 - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. - NIV
