A lie is not always the opposite of truth
It's mostly a perversion of the truth... The more you look the less you see as they say.
John 8:44b ... because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
The devil will keep you busy looking mostly while he executes his agenda. For instance light is not actually white in colour, you will see the actual component when you pass it through a prism (7 colours)
